Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; The candidate will need to, (1) implement changes and enhancements to various network systems; (2) support day-to-day 24x7 operation of the Police Data Network and Internet Gateway System; (3) monitor various network and security systems, including collection and analysis of network traffic, logs and alert messages from systems; (4) perform and manage various procurement, installation, vendor/user coordination, implementation, testing, service/system migration and documentation tasks to achieve project objectives; Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) Experiences in managing and implementing network infrastructure projects. (2) Familiar with project management and production infrastructure support practices. (3) Work with parallel projects / enhancement initiatives, attend to very detailed planning, involving in network design and work independently. (4) Work on roster as first/second line on-call and/or provide on-site support (Notes: May require to work irregular hours and on weekends/public holidays; and may require to perform outdoor duties). (5) Experiences and knowledge on remote access systems and VPN, multi-layered and complex LAN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi system, Internet connection systems, network access control, MySQL, PHP, Ansible and Python or other programmer languages are advantageous. (6) Qualification of HCNA/CCNA/CCNP certificate or other Cisco/H3C/Huawei certificates are advantageous. (7) Experience in various networking products such as Cisco, Huawei, H3C are advantageous. (8) Security vetting is required. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Networking (NET); . 1 year's experience in Router Configuration (ROU) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wide Area Network (WAN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 6 months' experience in customer relations (ECR) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
