(T26) The Contract Analyst Programmer (CAP) will be responsible for providing system administration and technical support to the RVD IT infrastructure. The CAP will also assist in the enhancements of the Rental Information System (RIS) and Market Information System (MIS).

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the R&VD;
The major job duties are:
1. To provide the system administration and technical support to RVD IT infrastructure including mid-range servers, RDBMS and Customer Communication Management tool etc.;
2. To assist in the implementation of the new projects;
3. To prepare and update technical manuals and project documents; and
4. To perform any other duties related to the new projects and infrastructure support.

| Requirements |
The staff shall possess the following knowledge and working experience:
- UNIX server administration;
- Oracle database and application server administration;
- Oracle PL/SQL, Pro*C, Forms and Reports development and support; and
- Customer communications management system support.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET);
. At least 3 years' experience in Oracle Application Server Admin. and Tuning (OAT);
. At least 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 3 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C (OPL);
. At least 3 years' experience in UNIX System Administration (UNA);
. 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Good written English is a must;
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
