Job Key No 35781 Job Title/ Category Contract Junior Programmer (Bid Ref 56225-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 20 Oct 2025 Contract Period 01 Dec 2025 to 30 Nov 2026 (12 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Training event technical support, creation and management of training-related digital contents Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSBU; A Contract Junior Programmer will be deployed as Multi-media Production Assistant to support multi-media production, and training courses / programmes and systems for the Civil Service College, Civil Service Bureau. The main duties are: (1) To provide professional support in in-door and out-door training programmes and large-scale training events, including setup and operate audio-visual and computing equipment (e.g. tripods, digital cameras, lightings, notebook computers and cables), conduct live-streaming and webinar hosting, photo and video shooting, audio recording, computer cabling and network setup; (2) To provide post-production service including video editing, audio editing, subtitling, motion graphic, synchronising with PowerPoint, subtitling, media conversion and other production-related duties; (3) To develop, edit, revamp and publish engaging digital media contents, such as web page production, photographs, graphic design, audio recording, audio-to-text conversion (e.g. Putonghua to Chinese characters) and video shooting for promotional and educational purposes; (4) To provide support services and maintenance for e-learning portal(s), including end-user webpage production, trouble shooting and help-desk function, data backup, statistical report compilation and documentation, etc; (5) To brainstorm and develop creative ideas, and be able to conceptualize and transform ideas into visual images, graphics design and innovative videos; and (6) To explore advanced and emerging multimedia learning technologies, develop compelling visuals and digital content with AI tools for continuous improvement of digital content quality and innovation. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 0.0 Requirements (1) Higher diploma holder or above majoring in Design, Graphics, Creative Media, Information Technology or relevant disciplines from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent; (2) At least 1 year of post-qualification information technology experience, preferably in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; (3) At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in digital content production field, including artwork, infographic designs, photographs, images, audios and/or videos; (4) At least 3 years of working experience in photo and video production with motion graphic for corporate promotion, product promotion and/or e-learning delivery. (5) Familiar with photo, video and audio shooting using prevailing digital cameras, digital video recorders and the lighting setup; (6) At least 3 years of working experience in photo and video editing using industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (essentially Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Illustrator) on Windows or Mac platforms; (7) At least 1 year of relevant working experience with/in the Government, quasi-government bodies or public service sector; (8) At least 2 years of full-time working experience of large event including face &;#8211;to-face training courses / programmes technical support in video conferencing and webinar hosting technology, such as Zoom and VOOV; (9) Good interpersonal skills and a team player with good communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English; and (10) Creative and innovative with aesthetic sense. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI); . At least 3 years' experience in Adobe Premiere (ADP); . At least 3 years' experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH); . At least 3 years' experience in Multimedia (MUL); . At least 2 years' experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT); . At least 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED); . At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5); . 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
