Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FSTB-TB; An Analyst/ Programmer (AP) will be responsible for providing IT support and advice to projects related to the upgrade/replacement of servers and network/security equipment, implementation of endpoint protection solutions, as well as network and system administration and helpdesk services to users. The AP may be required to provide on-call support outside normal office hours, to work at irregular hours during weekends/public holidays occasionally, and to perform duties in other Government offices inside and outside CGO. The main duties are listed below: 1. To assist in providing IT support and advice to all phases of project implementation; 2. To assist in coordinating and liaising with project stakeholders and other concerned parties; 3. To assist in compiling system manuals, guidelines and other documents and ensure an up-to-date inventory for server and network equipment; 4. To assist in system and network administration and provide operational support on the branch&;#8217;s network infrastructure, GOA systems, email systems, VPN remote access, Active Directory, etc.; 5. To ensure a reliable infrastructure for the existing and new IT systems of the Branch through vigilant monitoring and review of its performance and security controls and if necessary, collaboration with DPO and vendors to diagnose and fix problems and strengthen the security measures; 6. To assist in backup operation and deployment of security patches to servers and network equipment; 7. To assist in requirement collections for potential IT systems and network equipment to be developed; 8. To provide support to helpdesk services and end user support on workstations and mobile phones; 9. To assist in product evaluation and preparation of requirement specification and assessment of proposals of IT products and services; 10. To assist in monitoring the performance of outsource contractors; 11. To assist in acceptance of computer and network equipment and acceptance tests of new systems; and 12. To perform any other duties as required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements 1. Knowledge and solid experience in project implementation for upgrade/replacement of servers and network/security equipment; 2. Knowledge and experience in network and system administration, support and management; 3. Knowledge and experience in helpdesk support of major systems; and 4. Knowledge and experience in support of financial-related systems. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 3 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . 2 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
