(T26) This is a Senior Systems Analyst position responsible for system operation / maintenance / enhancement and delivery of the e-Procurement shared-service to government users.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
- Be responsible for assisting Systems Manager/Project Manager in managing and providing application support for a procurement system and its electronic service delivery;
- Provide day-to-day technical support on matters relating to the smooth production operation of the system;
- Handle system enhancement needs and require to take part in all activities as necessary including impact analysis, requirement collection, design and development of the technical options;
- Conduct demonstration/presentation and liaise with users for requirements to facilitate promotion of the existing application services;
- Perform study and assist to formulate upgrade strategy and approach to address issues arising from operation needs or ageing hardware/software;
- Lead a team to provide helpdesk services to users, handle users' ad-hoc service requests and provide support to resolve system problem and bugs as reported by users;
- Plan and manage rollout configurations;
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the line management.

| Requirements |
- Has solid work experience in system development and implementation of Java-based applications with Internet facing;
- Has solid work experience on Java framework such as Spring and Hibernate ORM;
- Possesses sound technical knowledge on MySQL database;
- Knowledge in Government procurement management and processes is an advantage;
- Experience in implementing cloud-based applications is an advantage.
- Require to work after office hours in case of contingency.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5);
. At least 5 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 5 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 5 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS);
. At least 5 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 5 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP);
. At least 5 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. At least 5 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 5 years' experience in Web Services (WSV);
. At least 5 years' experience in XML (XML);
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 6 months' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT);
. 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
