(T26) "Wi-Fi Connected City Programme" - Provision of public Wi-Fi services at Government venues ongoing operation, related technology & security surveillance.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
i) To manage and coordinate the re-provision/migration of public Wi-Fi services at Government venues;
ii) To liaise with contractors/sub-contractors and site owners of Government venues, and ensure smooth migration of public Wi-Fi service using new standing offer arrangement for provision of Wi-Fi service (SOA-WiFi2);
iii) To provide technical advice on Wi-Fi products and technologies;
iv) To support contract administration and monitor contractor's performance on implementation and operation of Wi-Fi service at Government venues;
v) To coordinate and perform Wi-Fi service check and acceptance check at government venues (i.e. outdoor work required); and
vi) To provide technical and general support to the programme office of the public Wi-Fi service including analysis of Wi-Fi service problem and research on Wi-Fi related technology and security issues.

| Requirements |
i) Good command of both Chinese and English;
ii) Good writing, communication and organisational skills; and
iii) Good knowledge on wireless and Internet technologies.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT);
. At least 3 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT).
Non-technical Skills:
. Good coordination skills is a must;
. At least 1.5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Good written English is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
