| Project Nature |
(T26) 1) Network Maintenance and Upgrade of Branch Offices;
2) Support and provide ad-hoc network communication services for Transport Department in major public events;
3) Support of various in-house web-based application;
4) Programming project(s) related to enhancement of operations and maintenance TD's network infrastructure.
5) Support network enhancement and configuration for OA Network extension for new offices and 5G network adoption.
6) Support of Wireless Networks, SSL-VPN and Internet Access Services.
7) Support of daily operation tasks related to network infrastructure.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD;
1) Be responsible for the assigned new software system development and maintenance of existing systems;
2) Be responsible for the daily network services request and first tier problem solving;
3) Provide system maintenance and support to various in-house Web-based application systems;
4) Administrate specific application servers and network equipment;
5) Provide ad-hoc on-site support services in major public events;
6) Co-ordinate and monitor hardware and software contractors;
7) Perform procurement related to TD's network infrastructure;
8) Provide configuration and monitoring of multi-sites network appliances, such as VPN, Wireless Controller and Internet Access Gateways.
9) To perform other duties assigned by SE/IT and his delegates.

| Requirements |
1) Possess at least five years' post-qualification IT experience of which two years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity to this vacancy;
2) Previous work experience in web-based software development;
3) Possess basic knowledge in systems analysis and design;
4) Good communication and English writing skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 8 years' experience in .Net Development (NDE);
. At least 8 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 7.2 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
. 6 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage;
. 6 years' experience in Visual Studio. Net (VSN) is an advantage;
. 6 years' experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
. 4 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage;
. 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage;
. 4 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Crystal Report (CRE) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Enterprise Java Beans Development (EJB) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Red Hat Advanced Server (RHS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 8 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Good written English is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
