Project Nature (T26) System and end-user support for office automation equipment and IT systems of Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB) and overseas Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices (HKETOs).
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CEDB;
1. To provide first line helpdesk service to users of IT systems of CEDB and HKETOs and perform associated helpdesk activities using tools provided and carry out on-site inspection and troubleshooting and take recovery action according to prescribed procedures;
2. to perform hardware and software installation for computers, mobile devices and computer accessories, schedule computer equipment installation, relocation and maintenance, monitor and report progress;
3. to assist end-users in IT related operations such as online video conference setup, software updates, email archiving and e-certificate/e-token handling;
4. to keep and monitor stock level of computer supplies and assist in their procurement and payment;
5. to update and maintain inventory records of computer hardware, perform physical checks and maintain procedure manuals and documentation;
6. to perform event and problem logging, statistics and reports;
7. to assist in user account maintenance;
8. to operate computer and associated equipment and facilities according to prescribed standards and procedures;
9. to monitor performance of equipment and perform routine maintenance;
10. to assist in venue setup for events that involve use of IT equipment;
11. to perform other duties as and when required.

Requirements 1. Technical knowledge in personal computers, computer accessories, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (including Outlook) and popular PC software.
2. Hand-on experience in providing first line support to end-users of IT systems.
3. Willingness to perform manual work of stock-keeping, transporting, mounting, setting up, connecting with cables, dismounting and collecting computer equipment at various end-users&;#8217; locations.
4. Good spoken and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN);
. At least 5 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. At least 5 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10);
. At least 2 years' experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME);
. At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
. 1 year's experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 5 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage.
- At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
