(T26) 1. Formulate, support and promote the adoption of big data analytics, data sharing and related technologies in the Government.
2. Provide maintenance support of the big data analytics platform and the messaging infrastructure for data sharing with an aim to leverage the technology for adoption by government B/Ds.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
1. To provide maintenance support of the big data analytics platform and data sharing infrastructure for adoption in the Government.
2. To conduct surveillance on big data analytics, data sharing and related guidelines and standards.
3. To enhance and maintain the theme pages for big data analytics platform and data sharing infrastructure for promoting in the Government.
4. To develop reference modules and programs for facilitating the adoption of big data analytics platform and data sharing infrastructure by government B/Ds.
5. To prepare relevant materials and reports in English/Chinese for management information.

| Requirements |
1. Experience in developing programs
2. Knowledge on big data analytics, Tableau, Solace Pubsub+ Event Broker.
3. Experience in technology surveillance and developing IT strategy.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 1 year's experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 1 year's experience in business intelligence/data mining (BDM);
. 6 months' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Website Administration (WEA) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. 6 months' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
