(T26) This is a CSSA position responsible for promoting the wider adoption of digital accessibility design by both public and private sectors; improving the accessibility of websites and mobile apps of Government Bureaux/Departments (B/Ds) and providing advice about the latest development and implementation of digital accessibility standards.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
Provide support to Systems Manager for the following:
1. To plan and implement programmes to improve the accessibility of B/Ds websites and mobile apps, including the provision of digital accessibility training and assessment service to B/Ds;
2. To provide technical advice on Elderly-friendly design on websites and mobile apps;
3. To monitor the progress of the website and mobile app accessibility compliance audit project according to the planned schedule;
4. To carry out quality control and quality assurance of the deliverables of the compliance audit project;
5. To lead project team in conducting accessibility assessment on websites and mobile apps;
6. To lead the research on the latest development of digital accessibility international standards;
7. To evaluate the essential requirements on digital accessibility with persons with disabilities groups, and review relevant documents/guidelines; and
8. To deliver presentations at technical workshops and seminars about digital accessibility.

| Requirements |
1. Must have experiences in web hosting, design and/or maintenance projects;
2. Must have experience in IT planning;
3. Must have experience in conducting IT training/briefing;
4. Must have experience in wireless and mobile technology;
5. Must have work experience with/in the Government;
6. Must have experience in managing digital accessibility related projects that comply to international standards on web accessibility, such as version 2.2 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) promulgated by the World Wide Web Consortium;
7. Must have experience in IT outsourcing management; and
8. Preferably to have intensive exposure in written English, and experiences in preparing technical requirement specifications and assessment reports.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in IT Planning (ITP);
. At least 3 years' experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC);
. At least 3 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in IT in the community e.g. promote the use of IT/IT awareness (ITC);
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. At least 2 years' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT);
. Excellent written English is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
