Provide inhouse API gateways and reverse proxy NGINX management and development for operation needs; 2. Provide programming enhancement or development for existing report generation update or API request/ response; 3. Conduct and/ or supervise the supplier(s) to conduct Security Risk Assessment Audit (SRAA) and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Disaster Recovery Plan, etc.; 4. Work across all system infrastructure areas, including servers, storage, network, virtualization, security controls, disaster recovery, service level standards, system management, data centre services, etc.; 5. Work closely with third party suppliers on the delivery of the digitization and innovation projects under TSA; 6. Review contractual deliverables and performing acceptance testing for the system to ensure they fully comply with the relevant requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and best practices; 7. Coordinate and monitor the performance of appointed suppliers and service providers. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; A. Provide programming enhancement or development for existing report generation update or API request/response; B. Provide inhouse API gateways & reverse proxy NGINX management and development for operation needs; C. Architect, engineer and develop the network security infrastructure based on industry best practices and generally accepted security principle, including but not limited to configuring and maintaining IPSEC VPN, reverse proxy and SSL, advance networking and TCP/IP; D. Update system design documents, operation procedures, system configuration documents, drill plans, contingency plans, technical reports, user manuals etc.; E. Communicate with IT management to review audit results, negotiate findings, and create final audit reports; F. Provide ongoing support to upgrade, enhance and maintain the IT infrastructure; G. Provide management information and technical advices, and recommend proposals to IT management on enhancement of the computing environment; H. Perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements i) Degree or higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines with at least 4 years of solid experience in IT application/system development; ii) Solid experience in IT application/ system development, with proficiency in more than one of the following would be an advantage; - Java, Python, JavaScript or Node.js iii) Knowledge and solid experience in RESTful API design and implementation are a must; iv) Knowledge and solid experience in Linux server administration are a must; v) Experience of developing map applications (Map API) is definitely an advantage; vi) Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is definitely an advantage; vii) Proficiency in using databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB within microservices is definitely an advantage; viii) Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures such as RabbitMQ is an advantage; ix) Experience in VMware virtualization platform management and administration is an advantage; x) Experience in Information security administration: Network security and LAN/WAN VPN, SDN, firewall administration is an advantage; xi) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work; and xii) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 4 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 4 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 2 years' experience in Proxy Server (PRS); . 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Web 2.0 Services (W2S) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support (WNT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Network Design (NDN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Data Modeling (DMO) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Data Management (DMT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 2 years' experience in IT audit (ITA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
