The successful candidate is required to provide overall IT management for the application architecture of the hosting platform and GCIS Shared Services to ensure high availability, stability and security. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; 1. To ensure high availability and stability of GCIS Shared Services 2. To provide technical advice on administration, operation, upgrade, configuration and troubleshooting problems on electronic payment system 3. To study latest e-Payment methods 4. To implement Containerisation of GCIS PKI CRL Checking Service of Shared Services 5. To manage the application architecture of the hosting platform under cloud-based virtualized environment; as well as the Layer-7 security measures for the hosting platform 6. To monitor work performance and conduct quality assurance of project deliverables from outsourced contractors if necessary 7. To carry out other project related duties as designated by Senior Systems Manager Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements Candidate 1. should possess sound technical knowledge and experience on design and implementation of application system(s) supporting e-payment service, in particular digital wallet 2. should have solid experience on overseeing project implementation with Java EE development for Internet application system deploying cryptography algorithm and PKI 3. should have solid experience on supporting Chinese Computing Standards Unicode and HKSCS 2016 4. should have solid experience in supporting e-Government Infrastructure Services (EGIS) or GCIS Shared Services 5. should have solid experience in supporting virtualization software including VMware 6 or above as well as enterprise cloud drive implementation 6. should have solid experience on implementation and monitoring of intruder detection / alert systems including Web Application Firewalls, Sandbox and preferably with experience on security hardening (in particular for Red Hat Linux 8 and Apache web servers), compliance checking, as well as email security control such as DKIM and SPF 7. should have experience in implementation of containerized application 8. should have experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables from outsourced contractors 9. should have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills 10. should be hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude 11. should be a team leader with good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills 12. may be required to work outside normal working hours for ad-hoc firefighting Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Chinese Computing Standards, eg.HKSCS,Big5,Unicode (CCS); . At least 3 years' experience in Intruder Detection/Alert Technology (IDA); . At least 3 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE); . At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 2 years' experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); . At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI); . 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Red Hat Advanced Server (RHS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT); . At least 3 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS); . 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . Good written English is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
