Job Key No 34679 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 55139-1) Number Of Vacancy 2 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 21 Jul 2025 Contract Period 01 Sep 2025 to 28 Feb 2026 (5 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base 4/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Project implementation of e-learning and training administration systems and integrated training venue and facility management system Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSBU; The main duties of the Contract Systems Analysts are: (1) To be responsible for designing and developing modules of the e-learning and training administration systems, room booking system, visitor management system and digital display system, conducting implementation and providing system maintenance and ongoing support; (2) To be responsible for integration/customisation of technical solutions of learning management system and website content management system, conducting implementation and providing system maintenance and ongoing support; (3) To perform research of e-learning platforms, IT training facilities and development technologies for the system analysis and design and system implementation and integration; (4) To provide delivery works including requirement analysis, system design, authentication server design, system programming, testing, acceptance, capacity planning, technical support and quality assurance; (5) To liaise with parties concerned (including system owners, business users, building contractors, IT vendors, Digital Policy Office, Architectural Services Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, etc.) for conducting system analysis and design, system implementation and integration and ongoing activities support; (6) To assist in enhancing the existing e-learning and training administration systems to cope with the new system implementation; (7) To assist supervisors in vendor management and managing outsourcing activities including quality assurance of deliverables and service acceptance; and (8) To support supervisors in providing technical advice to management, users or communities as appropriate. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) Diploma holder or above, majoring in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Information Engineering or related disciplines, or equivalent; (2) A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification information technology experience of which 1 year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; (3) Hands-on experience in software development methodologies such as IT application development and management, system implementation and maintenance and IT security; (4) Work experience in OAuth, Docker, Node.js, React, Ant Design, PostgreSQL and Redis; (5) Work experience in managing Government IT projects; (6) Experience in web application and AI development for Government bureaux/departments is definite advantage; (7) Strong analytical and problem solving skills; (8) Good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player; and (9) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 1 year's experience in Departmental Portal (DPS); . 2 years' experience in Authentication Server (AUS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP); . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
