| Project Nature |
(T26) This is a CSSA position responsible for (i) implementation and maintenance of new and existing application systems concerning taxation; and (ii) project management of various in-house development projects of IRD.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the IRD;
(1) To participate and supervise a group of system analysts and programmers in:
(a) collecting user requirements;
(b) conducting system analysis and design;
(c) preparing program specifications, application development;
(d) preparing test plans and conducting various tests including system tests, load tests, resilience tests, backup and recovery tests, disaster recovery drills, etc.;
(e) assisting users in conducting user acceptance tests;
(f) preparing system rollout; and
(g) preparing system documentations.
(2) To perform and lead subordinates to provide on-going support and maintenance to various application systems related to taxation.
(3) To perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

| Requirements |
(1) The candidate shall have solid hands-on experience in:
(a) System analysis & design and implementation of web applications and batch jobs;
(b) Java programming and various Java frameworks (including Spring); and
(c) SAS programming.
(2) The candidate is required to provide on-call support services and occasionally work in non-office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 6 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 6 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 6 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 3 years' experience in XML (XML);
. At least 3 years' experience in SAS (SAS);
. At least 3 years' experience in IBM DB2 Universal Database (UDB).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. Good written English is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 6 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
