Responsible for system implementation, administration and operational support to centralized domain and network management systems, including Windows Active Directory, DNS Servers, DHCP Servers , Mobile Device Management and Patch Management System; 2. Responsible for administration and operational support to departmental application systems, including File Servers, Internet Email System, Endpoint Protection and IT Security related Systems ; and 3. Assisting IT project teams in providing advice and assistance to contractor management and procurement process. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; (a) Implement and administer Windows/Linux Servers for various system such as Active Directory, DNS Servers, DHCP Servers, File Servers, Endpoint Protection, Patch Management, Mobile Device Management and Security Related Systems; (b) Planning, design, install, configure, monitoring and maintenance of server virtualisation environment; (c) Provide end-user computing support services for EMSD developed system, such as Easy Sharing System, My Site, E-survey and EMSD messenger. (d) Implement various user account management, domain policies and patch policies; (e) Supervise system implementation and migration projects, manage vendors, conduct user acceptance tests and ensure good quality of deliverables; (f) Ensure servers compliance to up-to-date security standards; (g) Troubleshoot server performance and problems to ensure high availability; (h) To prepare documents, guidelines and procedures for the operation and administration of System; (i) Programme VB Script to assist software deployment, Active Directory management, system monitoring and email notification, etc.; (j) To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services; (k) Provide IT training to client; and (l) To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors. (m) To plan, design, and procurement Implementation of a new AD server to replace the existing server. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements (a) Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines, or equivalent (b) At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience in IT; (c) At least 3 years solid working experience in the system administration for Windows Servers and 3 year of which is in Windows Domain (AD) administration. (d) At least 6 months experience in management and support of EMSD IT system including Easy Sharing System, My Site, E-survey and EMSD messenger (e) Good Knowledge of TCP/IP and Network configuration. (f) Good Knowledge in VB Scripting and SQL language. (g) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivers high quality of work. (h) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized. (i) MCSE / CCNA is preferred; (j) Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills; and (k) Knowledge and solid experience in managing government tendering process would be a plus. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows Programming (WPG); . At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 6 months' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS); . At least 6 months' experience in e-Leave (ELE); . At least 6 months' experience in Lotus Notes Administration & Technical Support (LON); . 2 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in VBA (VBA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Project Management and Issue Tracking System (PIT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in .NET C# (NEC) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in customer service (CLS); . At least 3 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG); . 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
