Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD; To be responsible for various enhancement of the front-end services for Common Data Services (CDS) supporting the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) and subsequent 7x24 on-call support on CDS which include: (a) To study, design and perform front-end application development and testing for CDS enhancement supporting APIS new initiatives; (b) To perform front-end application modernization assessment and technical options for the upgrade of front-end application frameworks and libraries of the CDS enhancement of APIS; (c) To provide technical support and problem diagnosis on CDS web application; (d) To produce standard testing procedures manual for the CDS enhancement to APIS; (e) To prepare documentations including functional specification and program specification; (f) To perform technical study, assessment, and recommendation for cost-effective solution and mechanism in implementing CDS enhancements for APIS; (g) To perform study of modern web application design frameworks, libraries and container technologies for the future CDS enhancements; (h) To review project deliverables, and monitor the implementation progress and performance of program codes, database queries, etc.; (i) To execute and assure the proper change management; and (j) To perform other duties assigned by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements The candidate shall possess the following essential technical skills: (a) solid experience in front-end application development, including HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, Java Servlet, CSS, ReactJS, Node.js development; (b) strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing; (c) solid experience in object-oriented design, Java / Jakarta EE application development and web services development via Java application framework like Spring; and (d) good communication skills and vendor management skills. Criminal record check will be required. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 2 years' experience in Java Beans Development (JVD); . At least 2 years' experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB). Non-technical Skill: . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
