(T26) 1. Provide ongoing support for the network and security infrastructure of IRD.
2. Support the network implementation of the new Taxpayer Portals project.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the IRD;
1. Provide ongoing support for the switches, routers, software-defined network (SDN) and security infrastructure (e.g. firewalls) of the IRD.
2. Work with and monitor contractors for the maintenance of firewalls and routers.
3. Support the network implementation for the new Taxpayer Portals project.
4. Coordinate with users and other project teams for network and firewall configurations of applications.
5. Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors.
6. Need to take up on-call duty.
7. Occasionally need to work after office hours including Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

| Requirements |
1. Have solid hands-on system administration experience in the following areas:
- H3C and Huawei routers and network switches
- IPSec, OSPF and BGP protocols
- Firewalls and network intrusion prevention systems
- VMWare NSX-T Software-defined Network (SDN)
- Network management software
2. Have good knowledge on the IT security policy and guidelines adopted in the Government of HKSAR
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
. At least 6 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS);
. At least 5 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
. At least 5 years' experience in Open Shortest Path First (OPF);
. At least 5 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW);
. At least 5 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN);
. At least 4 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN);
. At least 3 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS);
. At least 3 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP);
. At least 1 year's experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
