(T26) This is a CSA position responsible for supporting the network architecture of Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS), which provides Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) and Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) to various Government mission critical systems and e-government services. The CSA will also participate and provide client advisory and technical support in the relocation of GCIS from the existing data centres to new Government Data Centre Complex (GDCC).

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
(i) To provide technical advice on network design and network infrastructure setup of GCIS in GDCC and network interconnection between GCIS in existing data centres and the newly setup GCIS in GDCC;
(ii) To provide on-going support on system configuration and administration for GCIS network infrastructure in GDCC;
(iii) To provide technical advice on the relocation approach of GCIS network infrastructure from existing data centres to the newly setup GCIS in GDCC and subsequent tenant migration arrangement;
(iv) To provide client advisory support to B/D's user on network aspect for migration of their IT systems/applications from existing data centres to GDCC; and
(v) To monitor and coordinate with the GCIS contractor for the design, implementation and migration of the GCIS relocation.

| Requirements |
1. The candidate must possess the following specified skills and working experience:
(i) at least three-year working experience in supporting enterprise/data centre grade network switches including Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches, Cisco Catalyst 9500 series and Huawei network switches;
(ii) at least two-year working experience in managing the network running Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), Overlay Transport Virtualisation (OTV), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Virtual Device Context (VDC);
(iii) at least two-year working experience in setup Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN) services;
(iv) at least two-year working experience in configuring and supporting network monitoring tools (e.g. BMC TrueSight Operation Management);
(v) at least two-year working experience in network design and managing virtual firewall systems using enterprise/data centre grade network equipment; and
(vi) sound knowledge in implementation of network interconnection between different cloud platforms on VMware server virtualization environment.
2. The candidate must possess the following valid certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional in Data Center Virtualization 2023 or above.
- Huawei Certificated ICT Associate-Datacom (HCIA-Datacom).
The candidate must be able to communicate in written and verbal English and Chinese to deliver his/her duties.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 2 years' experience in Open Shortest Path First (OPF);
. At least 2 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Network Design (NDN).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
