Application development, maintenance, enhancement and support for the IT systems of SWD 2. The systems are using Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) and built on Microsoft Windows servers residing in SWD cloud platform or Government (GCIS) Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD; 1. To co-ordinate with different stakeholders to develop, maintain and support IT systems of the SWD who are IT personnel, users from SWD service branches, and the contractors of outsourced system development services. 2. To perform application development including requirement study, system analysis and design, system development, quality assurance, user acceptance, user training, system development, system configuration and setup, as well as system maintenance and support. 3. To provide technical support for operating system platforms, directory service, and system infrastructures. 4. To be responsible for application system and website administration. 5. Perform any other IT related tasks assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements 1. Experience in web application design, development and support. 2. Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle. 3. Experience in application development using JAVA, JavaScript and open source software. 4. Solid knowledge in supporting Microsoft Windows platforms, MySQL and Microsoft Active Directory. 5. Experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA). 6. Self-initiative and able to complete job assignment with minimum supervision. 7. Strong analytical and communication skills Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED). Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
