(T26) Development of new user-interface for monitoring operations of various radar systems, software and hardware upgrade of radar data processing servers, radar data migration, development of new radar and satellite products, application of open API for data downloading, procurement of GPU server for enhancing running of existing application programs, administering IRIS Focus software as well as managing software for monitoring operational servers and UPS systems.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKO;
A CAP is required to take up the following tasks:
(i) Development of new user-interface for recording maintenance duration of weather radars;
(ii) Application of the Community Satellite Processing Package (CSPP) to develop new polar-orbiting satellite products;
(iii) Assisting the launch of new satellite and radar products in the Internet and Intranet;
(iv) Assisting procurement of new GPU server to enable faster running of programs for near real-time generation of 3D wind fields to support operational diagnosis of severe weather systems;
(v) Application of open API or development of programming script for downloading of satellite data for operational use;
(vi) Installation of IRIS analysis software on newly acquired servers;
(vii) Provision of technical support on administering, management and upgrade of IRIS Focus software; and
(viii) Update and enhancement of the LibreNMS software to cater for the latest operational needs in facilitating the monitoring of operational servers and UPS systems.

| Requirements |
1. Proficient in Unix/Linux shell scripting, PHP, C++, Python, MySQL and Web server
2. Experience in Java, HTML and CSS will be an advantage
A criminal record check will be required and the offer is subject to the results of the criminal record check.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. At least 3 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP);
. At least 3 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. At least 3 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS);
. At least 3 years' experience in C++ (C++);
. At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Good coordination skills is a must.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
