Job Key No 34597 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 55060-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 14 Jul 2025 Contract Period 01 Aug 2025 to 31 Oct 2025 (3 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Sheung Wan, Central Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) (a) Provide full system life cycle development and maintenance support services for both in-house or outsourced approaches, including without limitation to implementation, analysis and programming, integration and testing, user acceptance, data conversion, rollout, nursing and maintenance support (b) Provide technical support including without limitation to server administration, technical and regular administrative support, installation and set up, problem analysis, trouble-shooting, fire-fighting and disaster recovery drill (c) Advise on technical feasibility and provide end user support Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ; (a) Responsible for system administration and programming support, technical advice and quality assurance (b) Responsible for reviewing the quality and ensuring coverage of deliverables produced by contractors meeting the requirement and scope of the projects. (c) Responsible for the enhancement and maintenance support of the MS Office Applications, including the Legislation Drafting Template (for Bill) application, program for sorting Chinese Items, electronic Performance Appraisal Report Form and Linux-based Overtime Management System (d) Responsible for research and study, collection and analysis of user requirement, enforcement of change control, application development, coordination work in application testing and rollout, user training, on-going application maintenance, preparation and update of documentation of computer applications using Java, XML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Visual Studio 2015, .Net Language-Integrated Query (LINQ), Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO), C# and Visual Basic for Application (VBA) (e) Responsible for day-to-day technical and regular maintenance support of Windows and Linux-based servers including without limitation to health check, backup and restoration, patch management, troubleshooting and fire-fighting, periodic disaster recovery drill and security risk assessment and audit (f) Perform any other duties (e.g. on-call duty after office hours, during weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements Candidates must possess: (a) at least three years of post-qualification solid working experience in performing tasks as described in the "Project nature" above; (b) at least two years of post-qualification solid analyst programmer working experience in developing and supporting MS Office Word and MS Excel applications specialized in the business area of high quality printing and publishing, of which at least one of these application must support no less than 100 users, and that these relevant experience, if obtained from a government department providing legal or legislation-related services, must have definite advantage; and (c) at least one year of post-qualification solid in-depth programming experience in XML, CSS, Visual Studio 2015, VSTO, C#, VBA for MS Word 2016 and MS Excel 2016, the experience of which must be obtained within the two-year period right before the deadline for contractors to submit bids regarding this staff service request. Candidate possessing hands-on programming experience in Visual Studio 2019, MS Word 2016 and MS Excel 2016 must have definite advantage. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1 year's experience in Experience in C# programming (C#P); . At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 1 year's experience in .Net Development (NDE); . At least 1 year's experience in .NET C# (NEC); . At least 1 year's experience in HTML version before HTML5 (HTM); . At least 1 year's experience in VBA (VBA); . At least 1 year's experience in Visual Studio. Net (VSN); . At least 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 1 year's experience in XML (XML); . 1 year's experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Chinese Computing Standards, eg.HKSCS,Big5,Unicode (CCS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Chinese Processing (CHI) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . Good written English is a must; . Good spoken English is a must; . 6 months' experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in project development in specified business areas (PDE) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in quality management (QMT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
