| Project Nature |
(T26) To provide IT support for infrastructure and application platforms across various virtualized systems, while monitoring and coordinating with outsourcing vendors and liaising with different parties.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HAD;
- To manage, monitor and maintain virtualization platform services and IT components both located on-premises and in Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS).
- To support IT infrastructure activities including DHCP/DNS, central backup, file servers, network devices, workstations, disaster recovery as well as version upgrade, security patches and security measures deployment of various systems.
- To monitor and coordinate with the outsourcing vendors for the systems and IT infrastructure maintenance and enhancement.
- To liaise with different parties including GCIS Team, iAM Smart Team and HAD Information Technology Management Unit (ITMU).
- To provide user acceptance test (UAT) and health check for the systems and IT infrastructure.
- To assist the procurement work and inventory administration work of HW/SW in HAD Survey Team.

| Requirements |
Diploma of computer or IT related subjects from a registered Higher Education Institution in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 2 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP);
. At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. 1 year's experience in Website Administration (WEA) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Operational Management (OPM) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. At least 1 year's experience in software testing (STM);
. 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
