Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EDB; (a) To provide technical advice on the further development of the one-stop portal platform of Student Assessment Repository (STAR), Web-based Learning and Teching Support (WLTS) and GoAdaptive, with the particular focus on the incorporation of appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. (e.g. for marking open-ended assessment tasks/ items and user interaction with chatbot) into the platform, as well as IT solutions to the problems identified on the platform; (35%) (b) To Assist the subject teams in monitoring and managing the use of the AI tools on the STAR platform by working collaboratively with the Hong Kong Education City; (20%) (c) To convert the pen-and-paper version of the STAR assessment items / tasks prepared by the subject teams and upload the corresponding e-version of the assessment items / tasks to the STAR platform, as well as fixing all the bugs and problems identified; (20%) (d) To assist the subject teams in modifyig the learning and teaching resources of the WLTS and GoAdaptive by providing technical support, as well as uploading the resources, including the interactive games / activities prepared to the STAR platform and fix the bugs and problems identified;(15%) (e) To provide technical support in the initiatives in the promotion of assessment literacy among different stakeholders, including PDPs, seminars, talks and workshps and other related publicity acivities; and (5%) (f) To perform any other duties as assifned. (5%) Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements An Analyst/ Programmer should have : (a) at least three (3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. He should be proficient in mobile/ wireless technologies, knowledge management, collaborative tools, application development, implementation or maintenance using programming languages and various support/ development tools/ environments such as JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, XML, C++, C#, COBOL, NAURAL, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, ORACLE tools, WEB SERVICES, .NET or OSS, and operating systems/ platforms such as WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, VMWARE or NETWARE; or (b) at least three (3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. He should be proficient in systems programming or technical support of systems software. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Data Management (DMT); . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in Multimedia (MUL); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 3 years' experience in XML (XML); . 3 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
