Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ICAC; (a) To migrate and support IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls and security related equipment (b) To participate in the installation, testing and evaluation of new hardware, software and technologies; (c) To configure and support network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, security related equipment) to ensure optimal performance and security; (d) To diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix system and network problems; (e) To prepare and maintain network documentation; (f) To provide project implementation and daily operations of system install and configure, testing and change request, etc; (g) To assist in the implementation and support of appropriate security controls in IT systems; (h) To undertake any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisors; and (i) Able to work under pressure. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) Academic Qualification Hold an undergraduate degree awarded by a post-secondary institution, or equivalent, in computer and information technology related discipline; (b) Language Proficiency Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese Language and Level 2 / Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua and in written English and Chinese. (c) Relevant field of work experience Have hands-on experience in the deployment and migration of network infrastructure in different brand such as Cisco, H3C, Huawei, SangFor and Hillstone. Have hands-on experience in the deployment of NDR. (d) Number of years of relevant work experience Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification IT experience of which 1 year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. (e) Other essential requirements - at least 1 year' experience in Cisco, Huawei and H3C network device. Preference will be given to those candidates with professional qualifications such as CCNA, HCIA, H3CSE-RS+ or experience in network administration or configuration. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 1 year's experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 1 year's experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU); . At least 1 year's experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 1 year's experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . 1 year's experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in TCP/IP (TCP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Ethernet (ETH) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Metro Ethernet (MET) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Metro-Ethernet Network (MNE) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Network Design (NDN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Checkpoint Firewall Administration (CFA) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
