This system handles a significant number of high-value contracts, managing complex procurement processes, contract lifecycles, and related workflows for large-scale projects. 2. Development is performed utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, including microservices architecture, containerization, Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), automated testing, and the latest technology stack. 3. Integration with various government departments and external stakeholders is a key aspect, requiring secure and efficient data exchange. This often involves implementing RESTful APIs for real-time data transfer, utilizing message queues for asynchronous communication, ensuring compliance with government data security standards, and facilitating seamless information flow between different modules and external systems. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; A. Assist in system analysis & design, carry out implementation, documentation, report generation, testing, and maintenance of various management systems. B. Develop, enhance and maintain micro-services based on Node.js and RabbitMQ; C. Define API in accordance with industry best practices; D. Enhances system performance of various management systems as a whole, including from software perspective (e.g. API design, version upgrade) and infrastructure perspective (e.g. hardware utilization, resilience), and prepare technical proposals proactively; E. Ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard; F. Evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services; and G. Perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements i) Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines. ii) 2 years or above hands-on experience in IT application development of which 1 years must be in similar post and in comparable capacity. iii) Solid experience in web application systems using Node.js, MongoDB or SQL Server. iv) Experience in database performance tuning v) Knowledge on RESTful API is a must. vi) Knowledge in message queue such as RabbitMQ is a plus. vii) Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) and tools (Azure, Jira) is a plus viii) Knowledge in micro-services architecture is a plus. ix) Experience in web application deployment procedures, source code revision control, issues management is a plus. x) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work xi) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized. xii) Good team player, proactive communication with his / her teammates. xiii) Good communication skills in English and Cantonese. xiv) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work. xv) Good interpersonal relationship and emotion management. xvi) Satisfactory result in the written test on the interview day. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1.5 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA); . At least 1.5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Source Control Management System (SCM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data Modeling (DMO) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
