Job Key No 24550 Job Title/ Category IT Operational Support Analyst, IT Operational Support Officer (ERS Operation) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Contract Contract Period One Year Contract Employer Business statutory body Location Base Wan Chai Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a statutory body; - Report to the solution manager, the IT Operational Support Analyst / IT Operational Support Officer is responsible for supporting, operating, and enhancing the Event Registration System (ERS) and related technologies to ensure smooth event operations. Event Operations and Onsite Support: - Provide onsite support at event venues such as HKCEC for over 40 events per year, including system setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. - Support pre-event and post-event activities, including inventory control, logistics coordination, and data reconciliation. - Coordinate equipment and onsite infrastructure arrangements with vendors and internal teams. Application Support and Maintenance: - Maintain and support ERS and related applications to ensure stable, secure, and reliable operation. - Monitor system performance and assist in resolving application, data, network, and hardware issues. - Work with inhouse teams or vendors on application enhancement, system maintenance, troubleshooting, user acceptance and operational readiness. - Handle local and overseas user enquiries and follow through on business requirements and issues until resolution. Reporting, Data Validation, and Documentation: - Prepare operational, management, standard, online, physical, and ad hoc reports. - Validate report figures through data checks, reconciliation, analytics, and confirmed fair attendance records. - Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, guidelines, and knowledge transfer materials. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 1.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related discipline. - At least 1 year of experience in system support or application development, with hands-on exposure to networking and printer setup. - Solid experience with MongoDB query and aggregation pipeline. - Practical knowledge of iPad, laptops, networking, Raspberry Pi, and printer configuration. - Experience in event-based operations and onsite support is an advantage. - Exposure to application development using AWS, Android, iOS, Node.js, GitLab CI, RESTful APIs, DevOps practices, and Linux is a plus. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules. - Willingness to work overtime during event periods. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
