Job Key No 24324 Job Title/ Category Engineer (Quality Assurance) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Kwun Tong Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; Our client is a private company jointly owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Association of Banks. The key objective of HKICL is to develop and operate a safe and efficient multi-currency and multi-dimensional financial infrastructure in Hong Kong. At present, it operates an integrated financial infrastructure platform for: - interbank large-value fund transfers denominated in HKD, USD, Euro and RMB; - interbank money settlement of equity and debt securities transactions in Hong Kong via linkage established with the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited and Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) system; - interbank small-value fund transfers denominated in HKD and RMB, i.e. the HKD and RMB Faster Payment System; - interbank clearing and/or money settlement of retail payments in Hong Kong such as paper cheques, autocredits, credit card payments, etc.; and - the HKMA’s CMU system as a computer operator. Major Responsibilities - Assist in preparing test plan, test cases, and other relevant documents for conducting user acceptance tests, regression tests, and simulation tests; - Execute and follow up the test cases, document the test results and maintain the problem logs; - Communicate, co-ordinate and liaise with users, IT development and other teams; - Prepare and setup up testing environments; - Promote quality assurance standards and best practices to the team; - Perform other duties as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 1.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - University / Tertiary education, preferably in Computer Science or related disciplines with 1-2 years of quality assurance experience would be an advantage; - Knowledge in quality assurance process is preferred; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; - Knowledge of SWIFT messages, XML and experience in automated testing tools is added advantage; - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; - Candidates with more experience may be considered as Senior Engineer (Quality Assurance).
