Job Key No 24088 Job Title/ Category System Architect (Cloud & VMware) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business information technology services Location Base Kowloon Bay Monthly Salary Range HK$ 70,000 - 90,000 Duties - Serve a permanent position to an international IT Company; The System Architect is an influential and customer-facing role, engaged in managed a technical team for the implementation and operation support of various IT infrastructure projects required in response to customer requirements. Responsibilities: - Supervise technical teams in delivering project deliverables; - Analyze and interpret the client business needs and support the formulation of solution strategy; - Identify risks to the proposed solution including possible risk mitigations; - Lead the technical and service design of the solution; - Manage the technical solution process within the timing objectives and restraints of the project process; - Manage vendors together with technical specialists; - Create technical texts and presentations for proposals and provides input to contract and SLA; - Carry out direct due diligence activities; - Maintain close relationships with Bid Management, Account Representatives, CTO, Systems - Integration (SI) and Service Delivery Towers ; - Keep abreast of existing and evolving Atos standard portfolio solutions; - Monitor global IT developments, industry trends and competitors, to ensure our solutions appropriately exploit both current and future technologies in line with Atos CTO guidelines; - Conform to Atos business process, standards and guidelines as appropriate. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 11.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Bachelor / Master Degree holder in Information Technology or relevant discipline; - Have at least 11 years of IT experience; - Have at least 3 years of the following functional/specialty experience: - Have performed system architecture design and implementation for at least one (1) private cloud project which involves the implementation of a private cloud for hosting of at least 100 VMs (virtual machines) and DR automation solution; - Managerial and leadership experience in leading a large-scale infrastructure structure; - Experience with private cloud infrastructures like VMware or RedHat OpenShift would be a great plus; - Experience across servers (Windows & Unix), physical networks, backup & restore and security; - Experience with managed services and IT outsourcing would be a great plus; - Strong leadership skills in promoting team work, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills; - Excellent Communications skills in English and Cantonese.
