Job Key No 22791 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 45027-2) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 26 Sep 2024 Contract Period 01 Nov 2024 to 28 Feb 2026 (15 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Sha Tin Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Perform on-going support for the Government Office Automation (GOA) Programme in LCSD Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; - Perform administration and technical support on the desktop management and security protection on the PC platform (e.g. configuration management, group policy management, Active Directory, Anti-virus management, Patch/ Software Delivery, File Sharing Services, Decentralized file servers, etc) - Manage/ monitor relevant outsourcing IT services (PC Deployment, Hardware Maintenance, Call Centre & Remote Venue Support) &;#8211; Requirement Collection, Contract Administration, Vendor Management - Provide technical support/ consultancy to the service operation team related to the GOA platform - Maintain computer equipment inventory and perform annual checking - Coordinate with support staff, users and vendors for operational matters and security management activities - Participate in problem management meeting and give advice on desktop security protection / desktop management support activities - Plan, implement and manage GOA related project(s) of the service operation team - Ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents during non-office hours may be required - Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements - Degree in IT related subject is preferred - With at least 2 years post-qualification experience in the role of Analyst Programmer is preferred - With at least 5 years of proven and substantiated OA system support experience - With at least 3 years solid experience in supporting the PC platform running on Microsoft platform (MS Windows 10/MS Windows 11), Internet applications, Lotus Notes Mail System (both Client-based and Web-based) and Confidential Mail System - With at least 2 year solid technical support experience in OA PC desktop management via desktop management software (e.g. Symantec Altiris, BMC Remedy or IBM Tivoli, etc.) is preferred - With at least 2 year solid technical support experience in desktop security protection via endpoint Security Protection product (e.g. Symantec Endpoint Protection, Trend Micro OfficeScan, etc.) - Familiar with Microsoft products, Windows Server 2012/2016, Group Policy Management, Confidential Mail System and Lotus Notes Email System - Excellent communication, customer relationship and presentation skills - Good communication skills, mature, self-motivated and ability to work independently and under pressure - Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese - Have solid understanding of incident and problem management processes - Holder of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Lotus Specialist (CLS) R.8.5 or Certified Lotus Professional (CLP) R.8.5 or above or equivalent is preferred Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS); . At least 2 years' experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC); . 3 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); . At least 2 years' experience in IT Service Management (SMG). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
