Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; - To coordinate with project teams or contractors and provide support for system implementation and integration to OA services and LCSD Departmental Portal; - To provide administration and technical support for LCSD Departmental Portal; - To participate in the infrastructure upgrade projects; - To provide administration and technical support for OA services including Active Directory service, file sharing service, anti-virus service, etc.; - To provide administration and technical support on the virtualization infrastructures for Desktop Management System and OA services; - To provide administration support for mobile device management system; - To provide support for IT procurement matters; - To conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC), products testing and new technology pilots for projects; - To provide on-call support and work outside normal working hours as and when necessary; and - To perform any other job assignments as required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements 1. Have a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent; 2. At least 4 years of solid hands-on experience in system administration for Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 or above; 3. At least 4 years of solid hands-on experience in major system components on Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 or above such as Active Directory (AD), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), DHCP and DNS, etc.; 4. At least 3 years of solid hands-on experience in virtualization host environment, e.g. VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.; 5. At least 1 year of solid hands-on experience in system administration and operation for web portal systems using open source solution e.g. CentOS, Oracle Linux, Apache; 6. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese; and 7. Priority would be given to candidates who possess the following: (a) holder of Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) / Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) (b) experience in container platform technologies, such as OpenShift Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 6 months' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS); . 1 year's experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
