| Project Nature |
(T26) In-house system development work including user requirement study, system analysis, programming, testing, end-user support/training;
Provision of system maintenance and support to IT systems; and
Coordination with outsourcing contractors and acceptance of their project deliverables.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
Perform in-house application development work assigned;
Carry out activities of system development lifecycle to collect user requirements, analyse system functions, develop and maintain systems, conduct testing and data conversion, provide end-user support/training and perform system documentation;
Provide on-going support to IT systems and implement system enhancements upon user requests;
Co-ordinate users and stakeholders of projects and/or systems assigned;
Conduct on-going research into the latest AI technologies, tools and integration patterns;
Provide on-call support for urgent production system incidents during non-office hours; and
Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisors.

| Requirements |
Have a Higher Diploma / accredited associate degree / Bachelor degree or above in Information Technology / Computer Science or related discipline;
Must have experience in JAVA and Structured Query Language (SQL);
At least 1 year's experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery;
At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming;
At least 1 year's experience in MySQL;
Experience in ReactJS and Express.js is preferred;
Experience in AI technologies, such as LLMs and other practical AI tools is an advantage;
Good command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken); and
Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 1 year's experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
